Drinking soda is one of the most significant sources for tooth decay and a major contributor to why we get cavities. Soda has a lot of teeth eroding properties such as high amounts of phosphoric acid, carbonation, different sugar sweeteners such as sucrose, fructose, saccharin, and other artificial sweeteners. These things stick in our mouths and coat our teeth that leads to the wear down of enamel and the yellowing of our teeth.
